Understanding the new FIDIC Red Book: A clause by clause commentary

The aim of this book is to provide a clause – by-clause commentary on the New FIDIC Red Book, the FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Construction. The text reproduces each clause in full and then explains the effect and operation of each clause with bullet-pointed key features followed by a detailed commentary.

The book includes consideration of the variations to the standard version of the Red Book introduced by the new MBD harmonised version.

The publication has been jointly written by Jeremy Glover and Simon Hughes of Keating Chambers. Christopher Thomas QC also of Keating Chambers wrote the introduction and a forward has been provided by Mr Justice Ramsey.
