Acting for a main contractor in relation to £180 million refurbishment of major hotel. Assisting to negotiate and finalise various deeds of amendment to the building contract and to then to agree and finalise the final account without an expensive and distracting dispute resolution process.

Offering support when a project falls into delay

Our client, a global financial services firm, sought help when progress to upgrade work to a Data Centre being carried out by its contractor fell behind schedule and then further hit by a fatal accident.

Eastern European rail contract dispute

A dispute arose, under an amended version of the FIDIC Yellow Book, on a project for the electrification and upgrade of a railway line. Fenwick Elliott advised the government authority and achieved a negotiated settlement.
